Alien: Romulus

For the climactic scenes of Alien: Romulus, the production required spacesuits that were cinematic in detail yet robust enough for demanding stunts. Collaborating with costume designer Carlos Rosario, our team translated concept art into multiple screen-ready costumes. The suit incorporated custom 3D-designed hard-surface components—vents, ports, dials, gloves, and boots—engineered for durability and sealed against sand intrusion. Functional gags were integrated to enable the dramatic “suit-up” sequence seen on screen, requiring mechanical precision and seamless blending into the overall costume. The final suits balanced atmospheric authenticity with industrial functionality, catering directly to the legacy of the Alien franchise.
